Donkervoort Icons
)
Reserved for the rarest. Built for the boldest.
Donkervoort Icons is a curated collection that celebrates the most significant models in the brand’s nearly 50-year journey.
It exists to protect more than cars. It protects legacy. Passion. Provenance.
As values climb and demand rises, a new generation of collectors is emerging—enthusiasts who see these cars not just as machines but as milestones. Every Donkervoort is unique, but some are simply beyond compare.
Donkervoort Icons was created for those cars.
“There has been a massive leap in the value of our most important models. Donkervoort Icons was created to meet a different kind of need – one that goes beyond availability or condition.” — Denis Donkervoort, Managing Director
These Icons come with a Certificate of Authenticity, a full backstory, a Donkervoort warranty and, in many cases, restoration by Donkervoort Classic. They sit above the Donkervoort Pre-Owned classification—an exclusive penthouse of performance—with their own dedicated section for the rare occasions when one becomes available.
Donkervoort S7
The car that started it all.
Built in 1978 by Joop Donkervoort, the S7 was the first lightweight, small-series sports car to earn European type approval.
At just 525kg and 66 kw (90 hp), it sprinted to 100km/h in seven seconds. Only produced for two years, it remains a direct link to the brand’s beginning.
The S7 featured here has been fully restored by Donkervoort Classic.
Donkervoort D10
A track-day pioneer—before the world used that term.
In 1988, the D10 reached 100km/h in 3.8 seconds and topped 240km/h, earning a Guinness World Record for acceleration.
Only 10 were ever made. Its technology was so ahead of its time that BMW borrowed from it to develop the Z1.
The low-mileage D10 in the Icons collection was acquired from its first and only owner and carefully refreshed by Donkervoort.
Donkervoort D8 GT
The lightest GT car in the world—then and now.
Launched in 2007, the D8 GT was the first Donkervoort with a roof, weighing just 650kg and offering up to 198kW of power.
It won races globally, including the Dubai 24 Hours, and only 15 units were made.
This model also marked the beginning of Donkervoort’s breakthrough in Ex-Core carbon-fibre development.
